1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mission Pivot's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Description

Mission Pivot provides career coaching services, including but not limited to career strategy consultations, resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, and salary negotiation guidance. All services are provided on an advisory basis only.

3. No Guarantees or Warranties

While we strive to provide valuable guidance based on professional experience, Mission Pivot cannot and does not guarantee specific outcomes from our coaching services, including but not limited to job offers, interviews, salary increases, or career advancements. Career success depends on numerous factors beyond our control, including market conditions, employer preferences, and your individual qualifications and effort.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Sessions must be scheduled through our online booking system. We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may incur a fee of 50% of the session cost. No-shows without notification will be charged the full session fee.

If we need to cancel a session with less than 24 hours' notice, we will reschedule the session at a convenient time for you.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for coaching services is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept payment through our secure online payment system. All fees are non-refundable except in cases where services cannot be delivered due to circumstances within our control.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and discussions as confidential. However, our coaching relationship is not legally privileged like attorney-client or doctor-patient relationships.

We will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit permission.

You agree not to record coaching sessions without prior written consent from Mission Pivot.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Mission Pivot and is protected by copyright laws. Materials provided during coaching sessions are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Client Responsibilities

To maximize the benefit of our coaching relationship, you agree to:

Provide accurate information about your background and goals
Complete agreed-upon action items between sessions
Communicate openly about your needs and expectations
Take responsibility for your career decisions and actions

9. Communication

By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive communications from Mission Pivot related to our services. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mission Pivot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.
